01 — Origin
Heelhaus was born from a simple frustration: the shoe horn had been ignored for decades.
In 2025, our founder — a product designer and lifelong sneaker collector — realized that every object in his entryway had been thoughtfully designed. The bench. The mirror. The key hook. The shoes themselves. But the shoe horn? A flimsy plastic strip from a hotel gift shop.
He searched for something better. He found plenty of expensive options — but they all felt like medical equipment or museum artifacts. The leather ones were too traditional. The metal ones were too cold. Nothing felt like it belonged in 2026. Nothing felt like it belonged to him.
So he built it. Heelhaus launched in early 2026 with four products, each designed for a different kind of person who cares about the objects they live with.

Every material in our product line was chosen with end-of-life in mind. Our aluminum is 85% recycled. Our bamboo is FSC-certified and grows back in four years. Our leather is vegetable-tanned and biodegradable.
